The first class in the Starter Series. Welcome! A series for complete beginners, newbies to Pilates or anyone wanting to take things slower and more gentle. The class requires concentration and control but is also very grounding and relaxing. You'll work on stability and start to understand the ways in which the spine can move through flexion, extension, side bending and rotation. You'll also work some standing alignment work and wonderful roll downs to finish.
I've just had COVID and have been practicing pilates on and off for a few years now. Your class and your style of teaching suits me so well and is the perfect reintroduction to movement, I appreciate how you explain things and how detail focused you are!
